We were back at the hospital at 9am this morning for blood work and IV medication. We were there for 6 hours, during which Ava played and danced with Francesca the psychologist. She also had a visit from the hospital clown! Dr Laura was happy to report that Ava's neutrophils and platelets had remained stable, which is excellent news considering that since leaving the hospital she must have come into contact with a good deal of bacteria. This afternoon we enjoyed another long walk to feed the turtles (turns out they love bread and croissants!) and more running around the hotel.
