Ava has been looking all week to buy some chocolates for Father's Day, but the Lindt shop under the hospital is currently only stocked with bargain price Easter eggs and the local shops seem to only sell candied fruit. So this morning we took a trip to a nearby shopping centre, Ava donned her infection mask and we set off early to miss the crowds. Happily the mall was empty and Ava enjoyed a ride on a carousel horse before we started searching. Afterwards we returned to our hotel and a mystery... A shiny blue package decorated with stickers was waiting in our room. Inside was a DVD of 'The Parent Trap' and a heart-shaped post-it note, but no name of the sender... It is the second package from the same person, the first one being bright pink and containing a great 'Cat in the Hat' card game. Thank you to the very kind person who sent them. Please reveal yourself so we can thank you properly! I am desperately trying to recognise the hand writing but can't put my finger on it. Ava's guess was "the Queen"!!
