We have had a very hectic half term since Easter and a welcome break last week. We continued with our usual therapy routine but it was great to have a more relaxed schedule and to enjoy some sunshine. Ava worked super hard on her exercises and loved getting bright pink kinesiology tape on her shoulders from Mel the physiotherapist at Chelsea & Westminster hospital. She also really enjoyed a quirky sound show at the Royal Albert Hall and a visit from her special friend from Year 6 Ariana, who always makes her laugh. I can't quite believe we only have 6 weeks left until the end of this school year. I am hoping to hear news next week on our application for an 'Education & Health Care Plan' for Ava. We are essentially applying for Westminster council to help fund Ava's 1:1 teaching assistant, in order to enable her to stay at her current school. The feedback so far is positive and with luck things will go in Ava's favour.
