Brilliant News for Ava

FANTASTIC news just received that the Local Authority and NHS have agreed to jointly fund this amazing 'Innowalk' machine for Ava! Earlier this year Ava outgrew 3 separate pieces of equipment: a standing frame, walking frame and movement trainer. Further to a successful trial of this machine in February, the excellent staff at 'Made for Movement' have been generous enough to loan us this machine during lockdown and shielding. It has been an absolute lifeline to Ava, who has been unable to attend her daily therapy sessions since early March due to being on the 'extremely clinically vulnerable' list. Not only has it given her the ability to stand and walk which she craves, but it also given her the added bonus of an huge increase in concentration levels and much improved digestion. We are thrilled to have had such positive results and even happier that she will continue to reap the benefits of this machine now indefinitely. Special thanks to the outstanding therapists at the Portland Hospital for Women and Children, whose knowledge and expertise convinced the LA/NHS to support this purchase.
