Sad News

Beyond sad to report that Ava's Grandfather George has passed away. George suffered from chronic arthritis from his early 20's and a lifetime of medication finally took a toll on his heart and kidneys at the age of 79. Despite this, he was a constant beacon of optimism, positivity, wisdom and humour in our lives, enduring 10 major joint replacements without complaint and never allowing his conditon to prevent him from living life to the full. We are thankful to see his spirit of determination and enthusiasm in Ava every day. One of the deep regrets of Covid is that we were unable to get the family together before his passing, or even visit him in hospital during his final days. Our hearts go out to everyone else who has been put in a similarly devastating positon by the pandemic.
