Ava has asked me to share the exciting news that Elsa from 'Frozen' has finally arrived! Ava had her eye on this Disney 'Animators Collection' doll for some time and was promised it as a reward for her incredible bravery in Milan. However Disney had sold out out of this doll world-wide and, verified by daily phone calls, were out of stock for over six months. She has finally arrived and was apparently worth the wait. We already have 'Anna', who was apparently bereft without her sister... The girls are enjoying their half term holiday, even though our days are still dominated by physical therapy, or what Ava now jokingly calls "the naggy stuff". She is nevertheless delighted that her sister Angelina can join her in her daily occupational therapy sessions, where the pair of them look forward to building obstacle courses and ever adventurous physical games. I can't say I can see any improvement in Ava's abilities, however we are also not seeing any decline, which is very positive in itself. We are looking forward to a steady stream of visitors this week and to Ava's first swim post-Gene Therapy this weekend. We may not be spending half term on a sunny beach somewhere, but it is nevertheless nice to be ticking so many 'normality' boxes.
