A quick visit to the hospital today, where Ava made a funny little whale from puffed corn with Francesca. I had been worried about Ava having a slightly low red blood count on Tuesday but today everything was fine. Not only were Ava's results good, but we were also told that we will find out on Monday when we can fly home! Ava is perfectly happy in Milan, as am I, but we are more than ready to have our family back together. I felt the separation acutely today, my birthday, which was very strange being with just Ava until this evening. Thankfully Ava's Daddy and Angelina have now arrived so we will get to celebrate together.
