Thankfully the torrential rain forecast for today held off until this evening and we have had a nice day of shopping in the town centre. Ava was very proud of herself having climbed up these giant steps! Afterwards Angelina and I spent several hours working on her school project about London and both girls were thrilled when a lovely English waiter called James in our hotel gave the girls a bag of M&S Percy Pigs! There is a good deal of excitement here tonight about the England Vs Italy match, but I suspect only one of us will still be awake to watch it... Lots of reminders of home today, can't believe we are just a few weeks away...
