A very leisurely day in Milan today. We walked to the lake to feed the ducks and turtles before popping to the local shops to buy the last few gifts for some of the lovely friends we have made here. Ava enjoyed one last trip to the pizza restaurant underneath the hospital then we headed to the zoo. We fed bread to the cygnets, Ava's favourite, who seem to be bigger every day. When we returned to our hotel we made a swan of our own - thank you yet again to the mystery parcel sender! Like the other gifts this kind person has sent, this one has been thoughtful, creative and lots of fun. Ava and I were sad to miss the FHS Summer BBQ today, whilst Angelina had a brilliant day there. Nevertheless, it's wonderful to think of my girls being able to do everything together again in less than 48 hours!
